An impressive captain’s chest features two drawers and storage space on the inside. The top surface, front, sides, and drawers are all elaborately adorned with delicate scrolling and foliate brass inlay as well as brass endings.

The inside of the chest is divided into two compartments by a removable tray. The structure rests on a shaped bracketed base. Handmade and hand-finished in solid rosewood.
