A classic chair inspired by the design elements prominent through the second half of the eighteenth-century.

The back is relatively flat with a molded C-scroll carved crest, above a pierced central splat and trapezoidal seat frame enclosing a slip seat cushion. The cabriole legs end in ball-and-claw feet. Handmade and hand-finished in solid rosewood.

An ancient Chinese image of a dragon holding a pearl was the inspiration behind the ball-and-claw feet design which later became the hallmark of early Georgian furniture.
