An exquisite console inspired and reminiscent of the designs used by Robert Adam in his interiors for the English aristocracy during the 1770s and 1780s. The console has a demi-lune shaped top, with a guilloche carved apron, divided into three parts by a carved floral motif. The careful attention to detail is evident in the seamless finish of the apron. The console rests on tapering fluted legs, linked by an x-shaped stretcher centered by a carved finial.
